Dear God,

St. Francis stands tall in my contemplative garden.  A spiritual companion for many years now, he reminds me of faith, loyalty, mercy, kindness and love.  He challenges me to change.

It seems I need constant reminders to change myself.  I am always in need of changing something, my spiritual disciplines, my fragile beliefs, my reluctance to be all I can be and my poor decisions and/or recalcitrant behaviors.  I need change like winter that needs to become spring.

You are my only hope.

Bless you,
God of Transformation.
Take me,
make me yours,
reshape me
by the power
of your
Holy Spirit.
Make me
a reflection
of your grace,
I pray.
