Dear God,
I stepped inside the monastery today, the first time in months. I breathed in the air of your spirit and I realized I could not get enough. All through morning prayer, I breathed deeply. I wanted to get as much holy oxygen as I could, as much of you as I could. As we sang and prayed, read responsively the psalms and sang the songs of faith, my whole being was being revived. As I stepped back into the world following the service, I told my brother in faith, "Being here today was like being dry and dusty in the desert and finding living water to drink."
You are God,
you never disappoint.
You bless us
in so
many ways.
Thank you,
thank you,
thank you.
Love, Andrea
