Dear God,

A bathroom floor left dirty for a month finally got washed and polished.  It made me think about the spiritual life.

Boy, do we need frequent cleaning and polishing!  At least I do.  Bad habits, negative thoughts, and frustration and impatience all need to be removed from my spiritual life.  When I get full up with these nasty things, I don't have much room for the goodness you want to provide.  I don't like how I look or smell but the truth is sometimes I go long periods between clean ups.

On the other hand when I allow you to do your Miracle Clean, I feel so much better.  I like how I look and smell.  I like how I sound and how I give to others.  All this is possible by your almighty hand.
