Dear God,

When people gather to do your will, ideas stretch and grow to bless those who gather.  Several months ago you gave an idea to a friend for a prayer vigil.  Then after so many mass shootings, you gave another idea of a peace gathering.  As our planning committee prayed and discussed ideas, we felt your presence with us as we shaped out a Community Peace Gathering and Prayer Vigil.

When our minds and hearts are open to you, you take free reign to do your work inside us.  You speak to us, then guide and bless us.  You open our eyes to your will and you touch and inspire us as we turn more and more to you.

Today, once again, you were with us.
