Dear God,
Two family members who don't see each other often had a wonderful time for three days. They laughed, played, went sightseeing together, ate ice cream and enjoyed one another's company. But on the drive to the airport, a simple conversation lead to an explosion. A lot of sad things were said. Even though there was an apology, the pain lingers.
Lord, help us to stop carrying our burdens. Help us sit down with one another and share the pain and sorrow from the past so we can heal. Show us the way to healing, please.
You, O God,
are the
only one
who can
lead us
to healing.
You, alone,
are the
Great Physician.
You know how
to cut away
the wounded parts.
You know how
to heal.
May it
be so
for these
family members.
Love, Andrea
