Dear God,
I am sitting in bed looking out the window at the hills of Sharon, Pennsylvania. There I see the highway rising up and curving, trucks, cars and busses making their way to work, home or vacation. Although a gray day outside, it is a peaceful scene, one that you provided this morning.
We all have a road to travel, don't we, Gracious and Loving God? You give us bits and pieces to see where the road rises and turns into the unknown. From here it looks clear but we know there will be dirt roads, dead ends, high mountains, bridges and low valleys. Yet, in all of them, obstacle or free you travel with us. No one climbs the mountain alone or winds up at a dead end without someone there. You, you are with us, dear God, you.
Thank you
for morning lessons
of faith.
Thank you
for showing us
the way.
Thank you
for blessings
that never end.
Love, Andrea
