Dear God,

How sweet these personal moments are with you.  Thank you for setting aside this time for silence, listening, sharing, hoping, praying, giving and loving.  Dwelling with you is the most precious time of my day.

Years ago I could not have imagined sharing such holy moments with you.  I could not have hoped to learn, listen and reap the benefits of a spiritual life of faith like these.  I could not have believed that there could be so much mercy, insight, peace, joy and love.  But you could imagine, hope and believe because you are God and I am your child.

Blessed are you,

Loving God,

for you

bless me

so much.

I am

not worthy

of your blessing

and yet,

you give it.
Thank you,

Holy One,

for our

early-morning moments

of faith.
