Dear God,

What are our prayers if they do not have feet and hands on them?  How can we pray for those who hurt, are hungry, lonely, wounded or lost if we do not do something besides pray?  How can we keep full pantries of food and not share with those who do not?

How do we bridge the gap between those who have and those who do not?  Yes, we can buy groceries and give to local pantries but how do we help with systemic hunger?  How do we change the way we are to love, give and serve others?

O God.

Make us ready

to help.

Guide us

to be

your hands

and feet.
