Dearest God,

How great is your love, O God, how great is your love!  I am not only taken by your incredible creation but by love of friends and family!  All this comes from your hand, Loving God, your hand.

When I was home to visit family, I loved it when my 16-year-old grandchild put his head on my shoulder and said, "Grandma, I love you so much."  When I returned to Maine, I found a Mother's Day gift from my daughter waiting for me.  When I opened it, the gift revealed scripture stones that Janice said to use on my spiritual path.  We don't usually talk about spiritual things and yet, she knew the gift would especially touch my heart.  Another of your gifts.  A text from my middle daughter yesterday simply stated, "Charlie had a great week!"  A very bright, articulate, transgender grandchild struggles with depression and anxiety but this week he celebrated a really good week.  All gifts from you, Lord, all gifts from you.
