Dear God,

The yellow and purple iris stands tall, exquisite and beautiful in my contemplative garden.  Every year it is faithful to rise up out of the soil and finally unfurl revealing every tiny detail of its incredible beauty.  

Your creation brings to us many life lessons.  Consistency, faith, determination, willingness and praise come to my mind as I study this rare beauty of creation.  It speaks to me reminding me of all the qualities you require to live a faithful life.  And to think, for years I missed the message.

You give us all we have with the intent each will share a spirit message with the children of creation.  If our spirits are alert, our souls willing and our minds ready, each message will come all day long, day in and day out.
