Dear God,

Because my friends left late while vacationing at our home, I could not worship in person at my church.  So, my husband invited me to zoom with him at St. Luke's.  And then I realized why my friends left later than expected.

It was your desire I join worship with the two pastors who gave the message around mothers.  Through them you invited me to consider all those who have mothered me.  Suddenly, I was overwhelmed by all, both male and female, who have tended to my soul, sometimes weary, sometimes worn, broken and hurting, at other times celebrating, rejoicing and praising.

There is no one like you, Ever-creating God; only you have the power and desire to bring people into our lives.  You touch, inspire and bless us through others whose loving care changes us, transforms us and renews us.  I will always be grateful!

Thank you
for all
my mothers,
Blessed God,
those I know
and those
I do not know
by name.
Thank you
for every gift
they brought me.
Thank you
for working
through them
to bring me You.

Love, Andrea
