Dear God,

It is only in the silence when we can most fully hear your voice.  When we reverently still ourselves, we are enabled to calm the inner chatter that constantly keeps us distracted.  Only then when we have entered your sacred space can we hear, feel and know your peace even in times of chaos and difficulty.  

You call us to silence not just to commune with us but also to heal, help, restore, renew and revitalize us.  Without silence the human body, mind and soul will continue its busy display that keeps us stirred.  We desperately need rest from the world's shove to do more, be more and have more.  Only you can give us all we need, really need.
