Dear God,

I do believe life is made up of hundreds of choices we make every day.  When I rise for the day, I can choose how I will live the day, full of gratitude or stinginess.  I can cling to the light or walk in darkness.  I can spend the day judging others or find your image in them.  I can respond to daily occurrences with love and forgiveness or anger and resentment.  When your son asked people questions, he was offering them a choice of how to live.

Oh, if only I choose to live in the light, hope and appreciation, my day will be a happy, calm day.  Faith gives us the edge.  By faith I can choose the light.  By faith I can choose love.  By faith I can choose grace.  It is all about choosing with your help.

Merciful God,
thank you
for giving us choices
to make.
Thank you
for offering light
in our darkness,
hope in
our despair
and faith
in our fear.
You always
bless us
by your
many gifts.
Thank you,
Loving Savior.

Yours, Andrea
