Dear God,

Spring continues to burst forth!  Color, texture and shapes are appearing every day.  Everything is a new creation!

Oh, Lord, how I wish our world was the same.  I want beauty, hope and joy to spring forth as well.  Yet, as war continues in Ukraine, mass starvation is predicted in Africa and mass shootings continue, I wonder if it is possible for spring to return to Earth.  I wonder if love will have a chance at making a more beautiful, peaceful and hopeful world.

O God,

return to us anew.

Erase the dead

in us

and spring forth 

your love.

Make us all

a new creation

for the sake

of all.
