Dear God,
All winter long it appeared as a spindly, non-descript tree. Nothing much to talk about but just a while ago, its branches began to perk up with tiny buds on the ends. Yesterday, that yellow magnolia tree bloomed with the largest, delicate blooms. It was so beautiful that it took my breath away. I grabbed my phone and took pictures.
Faith is like that. We can have long stretches when there is not much to discuss. But when it comes to life, we come alive, everything dramatically changes. We feel the brush of the spirit on our limbs. We breathe in the air of the holy. We stretch and grow and life becomes apparent in great and big ways.
Whether tree or human, we are all subject to you, Mighty God. You are the power that surges inside us. We too can come alive and why not!
Thank you,
Creator God,
for the gift
of life.
Thank you
for mysterious power
that enters in
and does
its work.
Thank you
for love
that makes it
all work.
Love, Andrea
