Dear God,

You set forth a daily rhythm for life.  You awaken us from our sleep.  You invite us for a walk or a talk.  You sit with us for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  You speak to our doubts, fears and questions.  You join us in our celebrations and triumphs.  You listen as we complain, ask questions and ramble.  You tuck us in at night.  You stay with us as we slumber.

We usually do not know all this is happening to us.  We are either too busy, disinterested or unavailable.  Or maybe we think you are too small, too busy or disinterested.  Interesting!  

Teach us

to open

our eyes

and ears,

our whole self

to you,

Loving God.

Deepen our desire

for you.

Help us witness

your amazing presence.
