Dear God,

Right now there is so much sadness and sorrow and suffering in our world!  Whether through war, injustice, poverty, natural disaster or economic woes, people are hurting, some very deeply.  These are sisters and brothers either by biology or creation.  It doesn't matter which; they are equally family.

How can we ever help ease such pain?

Help us

help each other,

O God.

Guide us

in ways

where we

can do

our part.

Lead us,

Great Shepherd

to your lambs

in need,

I pray.
