Dear God,

Only you can fill the human heart.  When we seek to fill our hearts with anything but you, we are often disappointed.

I love high church with great music and preaching.  I love beautiful stained-glass windows, exquisite banners and amazing architecture.  I love it all.  But today you reminded me that your living presence can be in a school gym with chairs, a solo or two and an okay sermon.  On my drive home I realized I felt full.

Holy God,

you are everything

I need.

Forgive me

when I

want more.

Thank you

for the

great blessing

of church

this morning.
