Dear God,

To find home where you are instead of rushing to get to a particular location is such a great mystical experience.  Although I arrived home last night to Indiana, this morning as I lay in bed resting, I realized I was home all along the way.  For every insight, scene and thought that rose up, I felt home with you.  I didn't let rushing thoughts, troubles or tasks tear me away from the holy wonderment or refreshment of breathing in home.

So often it seems we struggle to get to our destination.  Our minds are full of things we have to do, places we have to go and personal worries we carry.  We forget we have already arrived when we turn to lean on you.  When we pray for your will and way, when we surrender or when we take steps toward you, hope and peace enter those concerning spaces in our minds, hearts and spirits.  That is when we know we can take off our coat and hat, find a seat and revel in the fact we are home.

Bless you,
Holy God,
for unexpected blessings.
Thank you
for getting me home
while we
enjoyed home
along the way.
You are God;
truly there
is no one
like you.

Forever yours, Andrea
