Dear God,

The squirrels are chasing one another.  So are the birds.  Green buds are emerging on small branches.  Flowers have sprung up.  It is resurrection time!

Sometimes I wonder if nature is present to remind us of spiritual matters.  Darkness and light.  Despair and hope.  Death and Resurrection.  Good timing coming out of the cold of winter.

We all need springtime, O God.  We are living in a perpetual winter of darkness, loneliness, fear, anxiety and loss.  Our families, our nation and our world long for resurrection!  We need transformation.  We need filling up of that which is good and rich and beautiful!  We need to turn around to face what you see can be!  But, obviously we are not capable of doing this alone, Compassionate God.  We need your help, guidance and gentle nudge.  Only you have the power, strength and love to alter our situation!

Draw us close
to you,
O God.
We need you!
Never let
us go.
Call forth springtime!
Call us too!

Yours, Andrea
