Dear God,

"Come to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest."  This morning I read these words and so resonated with the love behind them.  Only someone with great compassion will offer this kind of wondrous gift!

One of the most amazing gifts you have given me is trust in you during difficult, painful times.  When all seems lost or temporarily stalled, you invite me and us to fall backward into your arms where you not only catch us but hold us for however long we need to be held.  Your sensitive, tender love embraces us in a way where we do not want to let go.

still waters

and quiet restoration.
