Dear God,

How can it be October already?  Where has this year gone?  Is it true when we are older, days go by more quickly?

More and more you remind us to revel in each day, to give thanks and to spread kindness and love to all those around us.  You want us to make the most of the gift of each day.  When we recognize and acknowledge every day is a gift from you, we look at life differently.  We begin to see gifts all around us.  We just naturally want to express our thanksgiving.

O God,

teach us

to begin

each day

with you.

Help us

live fully

in each moment.

Help us

to spread goodness

and mercy

to everyone around us.

Help us

give thanks.
