Dear God,

I love being in the center of Advent.  I love being on the journey of faith.  Advent leads us more and more to you; what's not to love?

My covenant group is reading the same two devotional books together this year.  As we read from their pages, we sense not only each other's presence but also yours like in a circle of faith.  Preparing for Christmas and Epiphany together fills us with wonder and awe.

It's funny or strange but I feel a growth spurt like children growing up.  I feel it inside myself and I know it is you.  And again I smile, knowing the blessing.

Holy God,

you fill us

with good gifts.

Thank you

for Advent

and all

its miracles.

Thank you

for ushering

our group

into your

wonderful presence.
