Dear God,

How can anyone miss the divine majesty of your living presence in the world with a total solar eclipse?  To wait patiently to watch the skies turn gray, the birds quiet their song and the cicadas begin to sing their praise, the moon completely covered the sun.  It was breathtaking!

How much more do we need to see your mighty power in nature?  

Holy God,

thank you

for the work

of your hands!

How majestic

was the

whole experience

with the

sun and

the moon,

the skies,

the temperatures,

the trees

and dancing flowers!

O God,

for blessing us!
