Dear God,

Can the dead really rise?  Can those whose graves were dug and they lay in them, rise?  Yes, but in your time and in your way.

We can affirm the answer of yes when we really explore the times that the dead in our lives were made alive again.  I know many including myself that rose from the dead.  You invite us all to give you our dead things, our dead places, our dead beliefs.  You want to give each of them new life because you want us all to be transformed by your grace, your love and your will.  We do not have to remain the same, especially where we hurt.  Thanks be to God!
