Dear God,

Sometimes, O Lord, we forget we are made in your image.  We fumble and bumble along acting anyway but holy.  We are judgmental, use poor language and hurt other people by our actions.  Often, we function out of a narcissistic center, replacing you as the true Center.  But you have given us freedom to make choices to be whatever we want.  Is this what we truly desire?

As we injure one another through thought or action, we lower the standard and moral center in our world.  We set new rules and behaviors.  Before long we can live in a cesspool forgetting we were ever created by a loving God who made us beautiful, bright and filled with light, hope and goodness.

As our country continues its decline through leadership who models this example, please call us back to the authentic center who calls us beloved once again.

Holy God,

restore us

to our

original design.

Reshape our DNA

so we

may once again

know when

we are home.

Please remind us

you are

our home.
