Dear God,
Today you welcomed me in silence. Our friends and my husband spent the morning together doing various activities and I stayed home in the quiet.
As the sunrays beamed their way into our front room, I felt the warmth of your arms around me. As I walked across our old hardwood floors and heard the occasional squeak, I let the memories of this nearly 200-year-old home whisper its story. As I sipped my coffee and breathed in the sea air, I smiled knowing you were here.
Quiet moments
are revered
in our home.
I listen better
when things
are still.
Tranquility gently
takes hold
of me
and I
love it.
Thank you,
Beloved God,
for the
holy moment!
Love, Andrea
