Dear God,

Thank you for the gift of friendship with family and friends.  As people gathered for our Gratitude Open House, I was mindful of the ways many of us were brought together.  Faith has been at the center of most of our relationships.

Faith has molded my life.  It gives me a lens to look through, a perspective on things, and a soul desirous of being full of you.  Faith leads me in hope, challenging attitudes and behaviors that are not befitting one who wants to be a wandering, wondering pilgrim.  Faith refuses to skitter on the surface of daily living but rather gives opportunity to explore the depths of a spiritual life.  Faith opens doors, teaches lessons, and alters the direction of our lives.  Faith gives the chance of a miracle and an awesome awareness of your living presence in daily living.  Faith brings joy accompanied by peace when we trust in you.
