Dear God,

Your children wandered in the desert for 40 years searching for a home, a purpose, and a future.  To some degree we all wander in search of something.

Wandering for a new church home has been fraught with loneliness and a sense of lostness.  Yet, we have been aware of your guidance as we sat in the pews of three or four churches.  Today we returned to a church for the fourth time.  Although it takes time to make a church home, it seems this may be the one for us.

We want to do your will.  We want to follow your dream for us.  We want to be obedient and listen for your voice.  We want to be a vital participant in a community of faith where we too can offer our small gifts to your service.  We want to pray, worship, and serve you.

Thank you,
dear God,
for caring
about us.
Thank you
for your kindness
toward us.
Lead us home,
Lord, we pray.

Love, Andrea
