Dear God,

On time.  The trees and flowers bud and blossom on time.  The grass grows green on time.  The leaves turn their magnificent colors on time.  Tiny snow flakes fall on time.  What is our faith so often late?

Seems like we give faith a fighting chance when all else fails.  We turn to you when we've tried plans A, B, and C.  By the time we call you up we are exasperated and desperate.  All that could seemingly be avoided if we just met with you first.

Looking out my kitchen window as I write, I view a beautiful flower garden created by my neighbor and me. Each flower, bush, and tree cries out to me to be faithful, to try faith first so I can be right on time.

Thank you
for garden lessons.
Thank you
for spiritual aid
that nudges us
in the
right direction.
Thank you
for lesson  love
that warms
the heart,
encourages the mind,
and fills
the soul
with good things.

Love always, Andrea
