Dear God,

Although we may slam a door shut and lock it securely, you have the power to open that same door so we may see the light. 

Often we play games opening and shutting doors to faith.  When we hold attitudes and beliefs that lock out the truth, we close the door on faith.  When we suspicion the locks on the door are faulty and we secure it once again, we soon discover there is no lock greater than the key you hold to our future.

Today a family member allowed her locked door to open to you.  Desperate for grace and help with healing, she allowed the light to shine upon her.  Warmed by your loving grace, she reached out and found you waiting.
