Dear God,

How wondrous is your creation, O Lord.  As we watch the seasons move from summer to fall, we see your gracious hand at work.

Today as I drove to and from my granddaughter's softball game, I rolled down the window so I could take in the fresh scent of newly-cut fields.  I gazed upon the flat, rich fertile soil of Indiana, of farm homes, barns, and contented cows grazing.  I breathed a prayer of thanksgiving remembering just a month ago I stood at the azure blue ocean in Maine and two weeks ago at the red rock mountains in New Mexico.  I thought of how you formed this beautiful world and gave it to us not only to enjoy but to take care of.

As I felt the wind upon my face, I offered you praise.

Thank you
for the gift
of this
amazing planet
and all
its incredible beauty.
Thank you
for spring, summer,
fall, and winter.
Thank you
for the blessing
of each season.

Love, Andrea
