Dear God,

Although there are disappointments in life, there is always much more about which to give thanks.  When I fail and fall, often I fall back into your arms remembering my countless blessings.  I usually start with the air I breathe, for without it, there is no life.  You give us breath, O Lord, the breath of life.

As I ponder my blessings, I count faith as three because first, it connects me to you.  Second, it connects me with the deepest part of myself.  Third, it unites me with others.  When I reflect upon faith, I discover the profound influence it has upon human life, particularly my own.  Faith builds bridges.  Faith uncovers strength and courage.  Faith gives power to overcome.  Faith loves forward and backward.  Faith shows us the way to health, healing, and wholeness.  Faith defines the better way.  Faith forgives self and others.  Faith offers opportunities.  Faith reveals the truth that sets us free.  Faith teaches.

On this Thanksgiving Day I praise you.

Thank you,
O God,
for the
many gifts
of life.
Thank you
for faith
and all
its benefits.
Thank you
for your presence.

Love always, Andrea
