Dear God,

You come to us in simple ways letting your spirit be known.  A drive into the retreat center on Lake Michigan inspired and excited me.  Land set aside for your purpose touched my heart.  Beauty all around awed me.  A staff humbled to do your will challenged me.  Music playing led me to higher, holy ground.  You were here waiting to move hearts.

Throughout the day as I prepared for the retreat, I thought of the many ways you come into human lives.  I reflected upon your Love that is greater than any other love.  I paused and gave thanks knowing praise delights your heart.  I let my own soul be moved and you began moving inside me causing me to dance with your spirit.  I was joyous to be in your loving presence.

extraordinary way
you meet
and greet us.
Thank you
for simple ways
of loving
and caring.
Thank you
for providing
for us.
