Dear God,
Your way is always better! A few months ago you nudged me to clean out the area around the old pine trees. "Make a campground," you told me. I cleared and cleaned, cut down tree-wanna-be's, and pulled a lot of tall weeds. By the time we left for Maine the area looked really nice. I alerted my grandchildren that I created a campground in the pines and that would be where we would spend our time together when I returned.
Three months went by. This morning little Rylan, seven-years-old helped me buy a hammock and assemble it, put up a tent, and carry out some games. All day long he worked to make "The Pines" campground come to life. His little mind was working when he said he couldn't wait to get together with his cousins. That was a stretch because an incident occurred among them months ago and then parents got involved and the kids were separated. But Rylan had a different idea. In his way of thinking we were coming together and it would be fun.
Today was spent making a vision a reality.
Holy God,
lover of our souls,
thank you
for speaking
to us.
Thank you
for giving us
the ability
to hear
by faith.
Thank you
for a
little boy's faith.
Love, Andrea
