Dear God,

You call us to serve, to have a ready heart, and to do the task you call us to do.  You give us inspiration, tools, and resources to unfold your plan and orchestrate your will.  You give us power to reach out, to touch, and to bless others.

On any given day, at any hour, you whisper our name.  You let your spirit breeze blow upon us showing us your love and living presence.  You show us the way to go.  You encourage us by your word, your compassion, and your wisdom.  You fill us with hope, determination, and courage.  You remind us that joy follows trust.

As I prepare to lead others on retreat, I remember your grace and breathe it in with gratitude.

for your
kind tenderness.

for leading us
to the river
where we
can drink
from your well
as long
as we want.
Thank you
for satisfying
our thirst
for you.
Thank you
for allowing us
to serve you
and others.
Thank you
for the blessings.
