Dearest God,

You bring people together in ways we are not able.  You draw us to you.

This morning after writing my letter to you, I looked at the countries where readers are located.  I thought of them, prayed for them.  I felt your wondrous power at work taking people where they/we are and drawing them/us to your side. 

How lovely are your ways, O Lord.  How beautiful are your thoughts, your kindness, and your love.  Every day you welcome us to your feet where we sit before you, silence our busyness, and draw in the breath of your spirit.  We feel close, awestruck by your desire to allow us to be with you.  We drink in living water and eat spiritual food.  We may not thoroughly understand all we experience but we revel in your presence, feeling humble in your sight.

Living God,
thank you
for your
drawing power.
Thank you
for holy love
that reaches out
to us
where we are.
Thank you
for making us one
with you
and one another.
Praise be to you,
Eternal God.
