Dear God,
Throughout the ages people have written down the wonders of your handiwork. They have shared their stories of fear and faith. They have allowed the river of thanksgiving to spill over to others. When we listen to their stories, we are strengthened, made glad, and filled with hope.
As I read my morning devotion from the psalms, I let the psalmist proclaim your praise in me. His gladness made some of my own. His prayer became my prayer.
As our tour of Ireland was winding down today, I realized the gift of your blessing in meeting new people and making friends. I acknowledged how you brought us together and offered to us the beauty of your creation in this beautiful, beautiful country. The laughter we shared together came to us as we each one shared our unique personalities. We delighted in offering stories of faith, family, and friendship. It came to me that in some way or another we were writing stories as we shared our life and experiences together. For me it was about faith, your leading, and your joy.
Good and Faithful God,
thank you
for all those
who share
their life
of faith
with us.
Thank you
for spreading
your joy.
Thank you
for making us one.
Love, Andrea
