Dear God,

What is grace but the long arm of the Lord that moves down from eternity and scoops us up!  In whatever painful place we find ourselves, God is the one, you, Great God, like a shepherd offers us tender compassion.  Who does this more than the savior, redeemer, and friend?

Once we have tasted the sweetness of grace, we want no other god but you!  No one can take our twisted, distorted sins and make of them a gracious pot of mercy like our God.  We have all known sin; therefore, we all have been offered this loving gift.  For those who receive it like a broken child will know the true heart of God...this grace, this grace, like honey.

Bless you, Lord,
for your
most gracious gift.
Thank you
for grace
that can
turn us
upside down
and right side up.
Thank you
for joy
that always comes
with loving grace.
