Dear God,
Mercy, you come bearing mercy to all who express themselves as sinners. When we fail, when we err, when we deliberately do wrong, you are inside us pricking our conscience reminding us love is better, integrity is better, truth is better. Then in a gigantic offering of generosity, you pour out your mercy upon us.
Only one who has been indulged with mercy knows the value, the power, and the grace of mercy. When that mercy comes after we have confessed, you are so ready to anoint us with this extraordinary gift of heaven. You lift our burden, excise our sin, and fill us with your own self. We are warmed from the inside out. Our thirst is quenched with living water. Our wounded heart is healed.
In just the last few days I have felt the joy of mercy and my heart has been glad and grateful!
Blessed God,
who could not
thank you
for priceless gifts,
unexpected and undeserved?
No one loves
like you.
No one forgives
like you.
No one
gives gifts
like you.
Thank you,
dear God,
thank you!
Love, Andrea
