Dear God,

The music of faith can cause the heart, mind, and soul to soar!  The lyrics, melodies, and harmonies have the capability of stirring a dull mind, a sorrowful heart, and an angry spirit.  It can literally transform the human soul.

As we rehearsed at church choir practice, I couldn't help but notice what was happening inside me.  I felt myself opening up, allowing the light to shine inside.  I recognized my heart beating slower as if taking in a new kind of oxygen that helped me breathe easier.  I realized how joy was seeping in, penetrating all the "hard" spots making them soft and spongy.  I knew you were in the room, in the music, and in me.

You do amazing work every day.  You connect with us daily giving us opportunity to make space for you.  You want us to speak and to listen, to link ourselves with you, and to receive the generous gifts of your spirit.  You want to bless so we can go out and bless others.
