Dear God,

There are times when you lead us to deep places.  There we tap into living water.  We stand and allow the waters to flow over us.  We lean our heads to the heavens and drink and drink and drink.  We stay until we are fed, nourished and stilled.

Later when difficult times come, when we are parched and thirsty for the spirit and we lack faith and courage, we...remember...and we are fed once again.  We find our way.  We drink in your spirit and find strength, bravery, hope and peace.  We smile because we know you have stored up within us reserves where we can go and find what we need.

Blessed God,
you bless us
again and again.
We discover
your mercy
leading us
to the well.
We drink
and know
for sure
we are drinking you.
