Dear God,

Only your will counts.  Our will is just that, our will.

So much of this world is lived through our own will.  Simply said, we only want what we want.  It is about I, about me, about mine.  We take little else into account.

But your will, your will, O Lord, takes into account all your people.  For each one is your own.  You do not favor one over the other.  You do not bless some and toss out others.  It is your will that all be loved.  All be cared for.  All be your children.

When we live inside your will, we actually see our brothers and sisters.  When we do your will, we see the wide benefits of following you.  When we walk this world with your will, we do good.  We love all. We give up selfish ways.  We love you above all.  We serve you and our neighbor.

O God,
may your will
be done
through us.
May we seek
your will
above all others.
May we do
the work
of your kingdom.
