Dear God,

I am overwhelmed with the reality of your living presence in every day life.  Right now the house is quiet.  I am downstairs in the basement among all my sewing projects.  I am writing with my sewing machine to my right and homemade Christmas ornaments that need finishing on my left but here in the midst of piles of fabric I sense your compassionate presence, feel your love and know your wondrous power.

In 2005 when I began my writing I was simply penning a daily letter to you as part of my clergy renewal journey.  Each day I sought you out (who was seeking who?) and wrote you about my findings.  Yet, today all these years later it is more like sitting with a dearest friend sharing together over a cup of really good coffee the wonders of faith.

I am blessed by you, Lord, so very, very much not for anything I do but by who you are and how you allow me to dwell with you.

Holy God,
all praise
to you.
You touch
my life
in so
many ways.
I can never
adequately express
my appreciation
and love
for you.
Thank you,
thank you,
thank you.

Love always, Andrea
