Dear God,

Everything is changing.  We are creating a new normal but the good news is you are with us.  We do not create anew without a good shepherd to lead us.  These days we need a good shepherd and we are grateful for you, Almighty and Living God.

Today I sat in my pajamas as I tuned in to our online church.  It felt so strange, yet an hour later when we concluded I was so glad to have seen the faces and heard the voices of our worship leaders.  We had no altar, no communion juice and bread and no pew in which to sit.  However, our service where we were together was an altar, communion juice and bread and a holy pew.

Indeed you were/are with us, Holy God.  Hallelujah!

dry character
out of
a book.
You dwell
with us,
in us
and around us.
We are
so very grateful.
