Dear God,

A long time ago you nudged me to anticipate your living presence in daily life.  You invited me to look and listen.  I have never been disappointed.  Every day I see, feel, hear, touch or taste your presence.  This faith "sense" has blessed me more than I could have hoped.  Now, I go through my day expecting and finding you.

This morning when I went to the grocery store in gloves and face mask, all seemed out of kilter, off center from the virus and yet, when I stepped outside I looked up and saw a break in the gray clouds where the sun's rays reflected out.  I stopped and let my whole self feel the joy of knowing this was another sign of your love in the world.  The message was loud and clear:  In the dark places, you will find me where the light shines still.

Holy God,
thank you
for the
beautiful sighting
of your
gracious and
generous love.
I breathed in,
drank in
the scene
and I
was blessed.
Still am.
