Dear God,

It is your power that opens us to life-giving faith.  When we decide to commit ourselves to you, you open the door to faith.  And what is faith?  Faith is that divine relationship of parent to child, of ordinary to extraordinary and of love to love.  It is a bond that is deeper than DNA cells.  It is love that pervades every kind of emotion and says yes to each and all.  Faith is God and creature in the deepest love.

Faith opens doors to a deeper realm.  It helps us see below the surface and above the problem, situation or condition.  Faith is like an ever-flowing fountain, a spectacular morning sunrise and a holy parent who runs to greet a lost child all wrapped up together.  Faith is.

to see
what is
