Dearest God,

There is a sweetness in faith, that wild love affair with our Creator.  As we open ourselves to the wonders that faith reveals, the more we find ourselves growing deeper in love, mercy, grace, wisdom and insight.  Although life still happens, disappointment comes and losses still occur, we have a saving net of love that catches us and gives us hope.

Although people of faith still waiver, doubt, give up, forget and fail, we still are held by a love so strong it will not let us go.  During dark times faith has a chance to grow, mature and stretch giving us another look at our life situation.  As we hold onto our faith, step out and reach for the future, we realize faith has not only held us, it has challenged us in ways that lead to life.

Today as I reflected upon the tentacles of my faith, I acknowledge how faith is full of miracles, healings, transformation, help and love that reveals itself in courage, hope and joy.  I am blessed!

of faith
that builds
and rebuilds life
around us.
Thank you
for the gifts
that comes
in the darkness.
Thank you
for the light
that reminds us
whose light
it is.
