Dear God,

Sometimes we forget what we have when we complain we want more.  This truth came to me this morning as I paused to look at pictures of family members sitting on my desk.  There are my three daughters and their husbands, one of my cousin and favorite aunt,  a baseball picture of a grandson and yet another one of the Sisters of Carmel.  Each person is precious to me, absolutely precious.

Pictures are good because they are exceptional reminders of who we have in our lives.  But these pictures are even more.  They represent your generous love, all gifts you have placed in my life.  You have allowed this particular people to walk with me in life.  You have given them love for me and my love for them.  You brought us together.  We are family linked by divine love.

Holy God,
you make us one together.
You shape us,
give us heart
and spirit.
You open us
to others.
We are blessed,
so very blessed.
Thank you.

Love, Andrea
