Dear God,

How do we keep hope alive when its possibilities seem to be slipping away?  I look at what is happening in war-torn countries, in countries ripped apart by Covid and economic disaster and in so many suicides among those who simply could not hold on any longer, particularly children and teens.  How do we make hope happen for so many?

I am really at a loss how to give hope to those who are hopeless.  I can talk about faith, give help where I can and pray but how do I grow hope in despairing people?  How?

Show us

the way

to hope,

O God.

Help us

lay paths

of hope

and peace.

Make us

hope builders,

I pray.
